Noteboard and Announcements:

Dear Visitors, I am currently undertaking some major revisions to the site. You may notice that many of the Alerts are incomplete and missing photos. I expect to have revised SAs issued soon and other new features for you. Thanks for your support and patience. - The Author

Scam Alert now has a new forum for your convenience and association. I believe this will be a better way for you to self-report scammers and for persons to track and comment upon the reported persons. You may post to the new forum as a guest or feel free to sign up. (Unfortunately, the previous Guestbook was lost during the recent transition and was not archived.)

Feel Free to Link to Scam Alert If you have a personal website, please add a link to Scam Alert . This will help bring more traffic to the site and thereby help more people avoid being scammed.

A Foreign Affair Movie I recently caught this movie on Showtime. I recommend seeing it. The movie has some errors like giving the impression that it is possible to fly home with someone you just met. It glossed over the reality and fact that many women who do attend these socials are "pros" or in some instances just shills for the tour operator. And the main characters were caricatures (and probably most Russian women's worst nightmare) and they possessed some really offensive stereotypical views of Russian women and women in general. But setting all of these relatively minor complaints aside, it was a charming movie. The ending is a bit gimmicky but overall, I thought it presented things in an interesting way and I liked the pseudo-documentary style. The writer-producers had help in making their movie with the A Foreign Affairs tour-company and it is featured prominently. Post a review if you see this movie to the SA Forum.

Send in Photos If you reported any of the new scammers below or any others, please check the Scam Alert as I am missing some photos. Send photos to "Reports @ scamalert.freeservers.com" and make sure to notate the main ALIAS. Thanks.
